See more about this pub on CAMRA's national web site

Ye Olde Crown is situated on the High Street in the town of Rayleigh and, having the best floral decoration in town, were chosen winners of Rayleigh in Bloom on numerous occasions. The building dates back to the mid 1600's when it used to be a Coaching House. Today it is an old fashioned pub in the sense that you can come here for a good drink and a chat and we have remained a traditional pub. There is always a great atmosphere here and it welcomes all with a real mix of ages and families coming during the daytime. Inside is very olde worlde with original exposed beams and other original features such as the windows. Good pub food can be chosen from the main menu with something to suit all tastes and ages complemented by a choice wine or one of up to 3 real ales if preferred.
