The Woodmans is a National Award winning Gastro Pub and has for its 5th year been included in the renown Michelin 2011 Good Food Guide.The Woodmans dining area can seat around 46 people and offers a Gastro menu cooked fresh in our kitchens, as ordered. The Head Chef and his experienced team have set about providing modern British and European cuisine with more than a slant towards the contemporary. Only the freshest produce, brought locally wherever possible, is used. Aberdeen Angus beef is used alongside Suffolk Pork and British Lamb and they source the best produce which is currently in season, fresh fish is delivered daily.To help wash down your food and entice your pallet the Woodmans also has a large selection of fine wines, champagnes and port, most of which can be seen by selecting house & Reserve Wine List Tab on this site. Up to 3 real ales are also served with a house beer Woodmans Ale (rebranded Caledonian 80 shilling). Bar meals are served lunchtime only, along with a selection of Sandwiches and lighter bite meals. Free Wi-Fi is available for all customers at The Woodman's Arms. Curry night is on Mondays and comedy night is last Friday of the month. Large garden for al fresco dining.
